What is Adoption?
Adoption is a permanent option for children/youth to have loving, supportive families.
Although the goal of Colorado Division of Human Services is to keep children/youth with their birth families, there are times when that is not possible or in the best interest of children/youth. In those situations, adoptive and other permanent homes are sought for our children/youth.
